About Puppy Cleo (On Trial 18/5/14)
Introducing Cleo, an adorable 4 month old, female, Staffy cross kelpie puppy. Cleo is an absolutely adorable, cuddly, affectionate girl. She has the sweetest little face which will just melt your heart.
Cleo is very people-orientated and LOVES affection of any kind. She loves to snuggle in tight and is happy to be cuddled for hours!
Cleo is only a small girl, and very much a puppy. Whilst she loves her cuddle time, she also enjoys playing rough and tough with our other foster dog Frankie- an 8 month old Lab X http://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/288771. Cleo is very elegant with her sleek black coat and tuxedo white chest.
Cleo would make a perfect family pet. She loves to be around children, and is more than happy to be carried around by our 9 year old, or simply just snuggle up on the lounge with her. We don't have any cats, so I am unsure of her reaction, however she is only a baby and so I am sure she wouldn't have a problem.
Cleo is an inside/outside dog during the day, and sleeps inside at night. We are house training her but she is still a little to young to have full control. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Being a kelpie X she is sure to pick up training quickly. Cleo will be an active girl, so she will need a daily walk or run, and toys and interaction with her family to occupy her intelligent mind.
Cleo's ideal home would be with anyone who can give her the love and affection she needs, along with an active lifestyle and time inside. She would also love to have another doggy friend to play with at home, as she is very playful and loves being with other dogs.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
