Rove (D2690)

Mixed Breed.

Rove is a very energetic, rather needy boy who has had a rough start to life. He will need a committed, understanding and loving owner to help him settle. His carer describes him as having a "huge" amount of energy. He demands lots and lots of attention, and will jump up to get it. \ He is "mad and messy" when he is fed, probably because he has been starved and needs to learn that he can rely on being fed regularly.

Rove is very good when out walking, and it helps him burn up some of his energy. He would be well suited to someone who runs regularly and would like some company. \ He will probably be best in a home where he does not have to share attention with children or other pets, at least until he has settled down. He will need a firm pack leader who can set boundaries and manage him consistently as he learns that he can trust people and feel safe. He is a loving, intelligent boy \ and is never aggressive. He will reward the person who offers him unconditional love and commitment with love and loyalty.
