Cindy (On Trial 5/6/14)

Cindy is a 8 year old Mini Foxy x with a beautiful nature. She is fully house trained and loves nothing more than to sit and snuggle with her human, on the lounge. She is a gorgeous dog with a lot of love to give. She would suit an older owner or any home that is relaxed and quiet. She can be quite timid around strangers and loud noises, but a cuddle with a human she trusts, will settle her.

We have 3 children and while Cindy is good with children, ideally her forever home will only have children as visitors, as they can become too much for her. Cindy likes dogs but prefers the company of older, less active dogs.

Little dogs like Cindy typically live to around 15 years so Cindy still has lots of time to give to her new family. Cindy has had her right cruciate ligament repaired while in foster care, and in the future she will need regular injections at the vet, to assist with arthritis. Unfortunately, she is also at higher risk of damaging her other cruciate ligament and must be on a strict diet to make sure her weight does not increase, which will put her at more risk of injury. None of this slows her down though!

Cindy loves going for walks and will excitedly jump when she sees her lead. She bounds out the door with the energy of a puppy and joyfully searches the ground for smells and other doggy interests. She is able to be walked on lead by our 2.5 year old child, so even though energetic, Cindy is still very placid and easily controlled.

Cindy is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She feels the cold so I made her a little blue jacket to wear at night.

Cindy is a joy to have in our home. She is loyal and loving and anyone who adopts her will be well rewarding with all of Cindy's devotion and affection.
