About Vincent (on trial)
Vincent is a large, handsome, red fawn boy. A friendly dog who is pleased to now have human company, Vincent is certainly appreciative of the attention he is now receiving from staff and volunteers. Like most greyhounds, he gets along fine with other dogs too. With a huge smile from hear to ear, Vincent knows that his future is now promising and that in a short time a wonderful family will fall in love with all he has to offer.
He is a happy and affectionate boy who would much rather be the only dog giving you cuddles and kisses. He loves his walks, a few zoomies and spins, a splash in the paddle pool, and meeting people (including kiddies). He likes to be a couch potato and have a nap in the afternoon, and in the evening helps you catch up on your favourite TV shows.
If you love big boys, and who doesn't they are the easiest companions ever, and you think Vincent could be the one for you, or would like to foster him to help him adjust to pet life, please contact us. We'd love to hear from you.
Medical notes
He is not cat friendly.
Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check to ensure the living arrangements are suitable for a greyhound. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home!
If all is well then we can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks, sometimes longer depending on the circumstances. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
