About Junior
Junior is being sponsored by Clyde, Deb & Jack , and is currently in foster care with Alex. However they can only foster until January 2015!
Junior’s owner did not want him and he was lucky that a friend saved his life. He is a big boy with a magnificent black coat and a big personality to match! He is so much fun to play with and just loves to show everyone his bed and toys. Life is just a joy to him – especially when he is getting cuddles and checking out his new playmates.
His foster family said this about Junior:
Junior is great with all people, absolutely loves them and is very placid with children. Kids often approach him for a pat while we are out and he loves the attention. With small dogs, he seems to have an infatuation. He absolutely glues to the small dogs at the park. He has had a few awkward moments with small fluffy ones but generally is fine, and even with small fluffy ones he has a sniff, realises it's a dog not a rabbit and is fine. Cats are a definite no.
Adoption details
We will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check to ensure the living arrangements are suitable for a greyhound. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home!
If all is well then we can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks, sometimes longer depending on the circumstances. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
