About Maximus (On Trial 17/5/14)
Maximus is a 15 month old Cattle Dog cross Pug! Yes, that's an unusual combination! He has a very sweet and innocent pug face and has blue cattle dog colouring, and then he has the cutest curly pug tail.
Maximus is one very lovable young dog who loves to follow you and be by your side. He will fill your day with love and always put a smile on your face.
Maximus mainly lives outside but comes inside of an evening. He should sleep inside but could sleep outside if he has a good coat and a kennel which is undercover. He would make an awesome inside pet. He is a very low maintenance dog who is happy to be active with you or just sit by your side. He knows basic commands and learns very well.
So if you want a extremely lovable and loyal dog Maximus is your man.
For more information or to meet Maximus, please ring or text his foster carer Bronwyn on 0438 448 923. Maximus is in foster care in Charmhaven, NSW (Wyong Shire, Central Coast) and is available for adoption interstate.
Maximus's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire, in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
