About Woolf (Cat Friendly) On Trial
Woolf came to us from Wollondilly Pound. He behaved very well for his transporters who have described him as a very nice boy. He is now in foster with Jane in Canberra who has this to say about him:
“Woolfie truly is the most gorgeous boy. There doesn’t seem to be a mean or aggressive bone in his body. He can pretty much be touched anywhere, and he doesn’t have any possessiveness issues with food. He loves people (all visitors have had the most enthusiastic welcomes), and most other dogs (except the small yappy ones!). He is a delight on the lead, walking calmly and not pulling. He has settled in well, and loves the occasional zoomie around the back yard, and playing with his toys. He just looooves having his rump rubbed, particularly when he has his coat on. He is well behaved, and responds to “uh-uh” more than “no” (especially when he is looking to steal a shoe or a glove that’s been left out after a walk!). Every so often, his puppy enthusiasm comes out, and he bounds around and barks, looking to play.”
This gorgeous fella is an absolute delight to be around. He is super friendly and is great with kids.
Woolf will make a wonderful family companion, get in touch with Peter@greyhoundrescue.com.au if you’d like to meet Woolf. ACT applications very welcome! NSW applications very possible :)
Medical notes
Woolf has tested cat friendly.
Adoption details
An application form needs to be completed followed by a house check. We offer a two week trial period. We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
