About Lestrade
Lestrade. That’s Detective Inspector Lestrade. A flashing streak of ginger brown who has been called on many a time to get to the bottom of things – bags, boxes, cupboards, and of course, crime. Some unkind observers have used the phrase “ginger nut” as he rummages around in a box after some clue or other when the evidence was found some time ago.
Lestrade is rather particular about his grooming, and his coat is really “chestnut” or “burnt ochre” rather than “ginger”. Lestrade himself would be appalled at such posh linguistic nonsense. “I’m a ginger, me” he’d say.
Yes, Lestrade has no airs and graces. He likes the simple things in life. Good food, a warm lap, plenty of toys to keep him occupied and above all not to be disturbed by any incidents that are not in his division. There are rules and you’re meant to follow them.
Want a handsome down to earth ginger in your life? Look no further than Lestrade is ready to start getting your life sorted.
Lestrade is in care in Croydon North
