About Koko
Koko, her sister and brother were nearly run over one night, the person stopped to see whether they were ok and found that they were not injured. They took them home as they were obviously hungry, skinny, full of fleas and wormed. They had been dumped and they were only about 4 months old. They were taken to the vet to be scanned and were reported to the pound. After 7-10 days no-one had come forward to claim them so they were immunised and chipped. They have now been de-sexed and will be ready for their new homes. All three are very friendly, affectionate young dogs who need some basic training. They love being with humans and are fine with kids from 7yrs up as they are still clumsy pups that might knock a little one over.
Adoption details
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, \ fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
