Pedro

*trialling his new home*pedro is a lovely, exciting, friendly little boy who loves to go for a walk. At the moment when we go out he is extremely enthusiastic on his lead, and needs to learn that this one is not going to be his last walk for weeks, and he can enjoy his surroundings and take his time. He is friendly and interested in people and other dogs, and is very friendly towards the cat charlie. The cat who likes to lazy on the chair, hisses at pedro, which confuses him because he seems to think it's strange that someone can resist such a cute, and playful dog such s himself. He's persistent and has more than one go at getting the cat to play with him, but after a hiss pedro thinks it's just too much like hard work, and the cat is the one that misses out really. !!

He is learning new commands, but as he is still young, sometimes gets confused which provides us with hours of amusement. He comes when called and stands when told to sit and it can be hilarious. He is trying really hard, and he does sit at times and we are still working on it. At the moment he mostly prefers to just stand still and look at you as though to say yes?? you called?? does that mean we are going for a walk??

He has not shown any tendency or sign to snap or snarl at all towards any person, dog or cat and is a happy busy little boy who's tail never stops wagging. A very sociable little chap. At the moment pedro is learning with the house training, and as he is still new to us it's hard to say. He seems to be very quick to learn, and it won't take long for him to pick up anything he is being taught. Pedro although is great with cats and dogs and humans. . . Also loves chooks. . . But only for chasing. !!
