About Zoe
Meet Zoe, a soft, gentle and affectionate, 8 month old pup. Zoe is supposedly a Ridgeback X Great Dane but at 8mo she only weighs 27kg and isn’t a very big girl (much smaller than her German Shepherd foster sister). This little girl is the biggest wiggly-bum, always smiling and runs to greet you when you get home.
Zoe was raised with children (from toddlers to teenagers), she just adores children. She is great with other dogs and cats, and her foster home has ferrets and she is wonderful with them too. She is a gentle soul who craves affection, and the biggest snuggle-bug! She loves nothing more than a cuddle on the couch (when invited).
In her foster home, Zoe has started some obedience training. She has good recall and can sit on command (except when she is a little bit excited), she’s also started to learn to heel and wait/stay. Zoe has come a long way in just 3 weeks, she will now sit and wait (briefly) for her breakfast/dinner until told “Okay”. Zoe is an inside/outside girl and can sleep all night without an accident! We’ve only had one accident inside.
Zoe is a little unsure and timid of the world, she was kept in a backyard since birth so everything is new and a little scary to her. All she needs is a family who will take her on family outings so she can experience the world outside the back yard. Zoe has got quite a spring in her step so 5ft+ fencing is essential.
Preferably Zoe would go to a family with children because of her fabulous way with kids, but this isn’t a deciding factor. A friendly doggy pal would also be great, but not essential. Zoe will bond strongly with her family, as she has with her foster Mum in just a few short weeks, so she needs to be an integral member of the family.
I f you’re interested in adopting Zoe please send an e-mail enquiry. Please include a brief description of your lifestyle, living arrangements (eg renting, home owner), and what type of life Zoe would have with you.
Medical notes
Zoe is a very healthy girl.
