About Baby Carl
Anyone who has been a follower on our Facebook page would know how baby Carl came to be a GAR kitten, but for those of you who don't - Baby Carl was given away FTGH (free to good home) at about 3 weeks old. The people that picked him up had got him for their 2yr old son, but he was to rough with Baby Carl so then they also tried to give him away only a few days later. Some family friends seen his post on one of the pet sale sites and went to collect him straight away. We received a call and were informed of what was going on and arranged for him to come to us. We were all under the impression that he was 8 weeks old thou. When he arrived it was very clear that he was only a couple of weeks old - he could fit in the palm of your hand! We weighed him and he was only 325 grams!
Baby Carl is now 11 weeks old, but he is still very small for his age due to be hand raised and missing out on his mothers milk.
In the 2 months that we have had Baby Carl we have watched him grow into a confident fun-loving little kitten.
He is great with other cats/kittens and he is great buddies with our dogs too (American Bulldogs).
Baby carl is cheeky and mischievous and will always find something to get into and play with, weather it be cotton buds from the bathroom cupboard or a hair tie that's been left on the coffee table.
He is very funny to watch with all his kitten antics. He loves playing on the scratching post with the other cats and he loves chasing the little catnip filled mice. He would even be happy with just a plain old cardboard box!
When Baby Carl has had enough of play time, he loves nothing more than curling up with you on your lap while you watch t.v.
If you stop petting him while he is sitting with you, he will come up and headbut your face if he wants more love.
With the cooler weather we have had the heater on and he loves sitting on his bed in front of it and having a snooze.
As you can see from the photo's, he also likes to sleep on or with the dogs.
Baby Cal is a very social little boy. He would love a little kitten friend to keep him company on days you might not be home.
Baby Carl must also be an inside kitten due to his fair skin tone.
Baby Carl is an all round great little kitten who would adjust to just about any household.
