Albert

Hi, my name is Albert and I am 2 years of age. I am a good looking boy with a lovely shiny soft black coat and am full of beans like all young dogs. I will obey basic commands like sit, stay and stop but pull on the lead and also have a tendency to get too exuberant. I get so excited when I see other dogs that I rush up to them which doesn't always go down well so I need a firm handler. I am dog friendly but need to be introduced quietly first. I would probably be better of with a single dog home. With a bit of encouragement SRV got me to drop so I am a clever boy and showing heaps of promise.

I am house trained, love travelling in the car and lived with two teenagers. I need a home where I get lots of exercise and playtime with staffy toys that won't get demolished too quickly. I would like to be out of the city where there is lots of space to run in. The most important thing is that you need to be prepared to take me to dog obedience training to give me the socialisation skills I need.

I love people and will lick you whenever I can. Although I am ok with thunderstorms, for some reason I hide from the vacuum cleaner so need a bit of reassurance from you that it doesn't bite. I don't handle being left alone for 8 hours a day. I have not met any cats so probably best to keep me away from them.
