My name is Lavender or Lav for short….I’m a cute and cheeky, cuddly and active feline with some funny little quirks looking for a super fun family or person to adopt me.

I’m only a young pussy cat and as you can see from my photo, I am a cutie! They say most cats sleep 23 hours a day, how boring is that! I like to keep active and play, talk to you, follow you around a lot more than sleeping.

Since I’ve been in foster care, I’ve raised my four kittens who have now all flown the coop so I’ve got lots more spare time on my hands. I simply LOVE to play, with you and by myself too. Jingly toys are the best cos I can throw them up in the air, chase them down the hallway, hide them under the couch and then ferret them out to play with them some more! I also have a funny little habit of bringing my favourite toys to bed with me; they’re a little bit like my security blanket I think.

When you’re home I do like to follow you around a little and talk to you, I enjoy that interaction. I’m a big purrer, am not a fussy eater and don’t mind at all if you want to pick me up and say hello or give me a big hug.

I’m a short haired moggy so I don’t need lots of help maintaining my shiny coat. I’ve also now finally figured out how a cat flap works so I’m very self sufficient in looking after myself during the day if you’re at work. I’ve been sitting out on the back deck lately in the afternoon so when my foster mum comes homes from work I’m there to greet her, kind of like a little puppy would do.

Of course when it does come time to have a little snooze I’m happy to hop into my comfy basket, curl up on top of the couch or snuggle up on the bed. I’m a lot of fun, really enjoy human company and don’t mind the company of other cats at all, I’m one of those kitties that wants everyone to love me.

I quite like dogs that like me – and my special trick with the kelpie is to put my paws around her neck and smooch her. She goes all bashful.

If you’re looking for a feline friend that’s way more fun than a big sleepy puss then as one of my favourite actors, Alexander the meerkat would say, it’s “simplz” – pick me! I would really love to meet you….talk soon!
