SUZIE IS TRYING OUT A HOME.
Suzie is a darling little girl. She is a real people person and follows you around. She also loves sitting on your lap and helping with household chores. She enjoys her walks and rides in the car. She is tiny-she weighs a whole four kilos- and very cute. Suzie came in as a stray so we have no history about her. She does not like other dogs coming into her personal space and barks and growls at them when this happens. However, she will eat near other dogs quite happily and walk beside them on the lead! She is all noise in this matter but would be better as an only dog.
Suzie has been started on monthly Heartgard.
Advertisement on PetRescue. I talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
I arrange a meeting with the animal and If all goes well completion of paperwork and payment is done through my vet. The adopter gets a receipt from the vet surgery.
I keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
