About Albi
Albi is a happy, innocent soul, just like a big cuddly teddy bear. Albi loves to growl and bark at his toys, and he always gives you the toy to hold while he is chewing it or tugging on it.
Albi understands basic commands, but currently ‘sit’ is the only one he will automatically do without treats. Albi is driven by food and if you offer treats he will come, drop, shake, stay and even jump over small obstacles. This smart boy knows “under” which means to walk through your legs. He knows “out” when he is lying on his bed so his night blanket can be put down, when permission is given he snuggles back into his bed. Albi has a flannel blanket which he loves.
Give Albi a concept and positive reinforcement and this beautiful boy learns quickly. Albi is just getting used to going for drives, jumping straight into the car when directed. He rarely barks in the backyard.
Albi is on the search for an active family who will shower him with unconditional love and affection. Plenty of exercise and a trip to the beach or river would make Albi a very happy boy. Albi’s forever family would be best suited if there are no little people, just due to the fact that Albi may accidently bump them. Albi has shown a disliking for cigarette smoke so a non-smoking family would be a great option.
Albi adores food and if you’re eating you will most likely find him at your feet waiting for his share. Albi also eats most food he discovers on his walks. If you use a hose on the garden he will try to bite the water and if there is a sprinkler going he will roll all over it. Albi is a spirited boy full of potential. All he needs is loving guidance, and with some patience and dedication these behaviours can be corrected.
Albi is a friendly fellow who gets along with his canine friends. If a dog behind a fence barks at him he will attempt to say hello and is perplexed as to why they aren’t being friendly. Albi would love another doggy friend for company. He has taken quite a liking to an old fox terrier and a beagle who are in their yards when out on his walk. When Albi comes across cats he is half playful, half scared, just unsure whether his interaction will be of a positive nature.
Albi isn’t used to being an inside dog, but would thrive in a home where he has the best of both worlds, outside to run and play, but inside at night where he will be safe and keep warm in the cooler months.
This adorable creature has an amazing personality and will enrich the lives of one very lucky family. There is no doubt that Albi will light up your world with love, fun and laughter.
Albi is located in Melbourne.
