About Ginger
Ginger came to us as a mumma cat, with a litter of babies, but she's not much more than a baby herself! She was a great mumma, and took excellent care of her babies, and adopted the other cats in the household as hers as well. She is friendly and affectionate, and is particularly chatty around dinnertime. She loves rubbing around your legs, and comes up to you for head rubs and snuggles. As a former feral cat, Ginger can be quite timid around new people, and she shows her affection for you by giving you little love bites - as such, she would not be really suitable for a family with young children, as she can be a little rough, and loud noises and fast movements can scare her. She loves snuggling with you on the couch, and is perfectly happy to sleep on the bed with you all night if she is allowed. Ginger is truly a sweetheart, and would be a wonderful addition to an older family. She is young enough to still play like an entertaining kitten, and particularly loves for you to play with her, but she is old enough to be easily trained, well behaved, and needing of her own quiet time throughout the day.
All Little Paws kitties come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, micro chipped, wormed, flea treated and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws kitties are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, for their safety and health and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a kitty goes to. We match kitties to their new family; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising kitties in their own home, we would appreciate a call if you cannot make an appointment.
