Twiggy (On Trial 27/4/14)

Twiggy is an affectionate, 1yo, kelpie x fox terrier. She is very loving and adores being around people that will love and care for her – which is so easy as she is gorgeous! Twiggy makes an excellent companion and loves to follow you around and check out what you're doing. She enjoys some down time relaxing and getting cuddles. She is very polite and will not jump on furniture without being asked. She is happy to snooze at your feet so long as she knows a friendly face is close by when she wakes.

Twiggy gets along well with my little dogs, and loves to run around outside and play. She could benefit from further socialization with dogs of all sizes, as she can be a little wary at first. Twiggy walks well on the lead and has heaps of energy.

Twiggy is a fast learner and has started to know commands such as sit and stay. She is young and would benefit from more training. She is pretty well toilet trained, going mostly outside and if not always on newspaper that I’ve put down. She responds really well to encouragement for going to the toilet outside and is catching on quick – she’s so eager to please! She’s not a big eater and sometimes needs to be encouraged gently to eat her food.

If you’re looking for a best friend and loyal happy companion, then Twiggy really delivers. Her tail does not stop wagging! Her gentle loving nature makes her so lovely to be around, and she would get along with families as well as households with other dogs so long as she feels comfortable.
