About Lexi is on hold pending adoption
Lexi is a beautifully bred two year old German Shepherd Dog who sadly is needing to find a loving home. She was purchased by an elderly couple for their granddaughter and because she is not provided with exercise and they have not done the right thing for her she now needs to find another home.
Lexi is lead aggressive as she was not socialised enough during those vital months as a puppy and being in a built up area of Sydney she is not provided with off leash running or playtime.
She is now turning two years of age and currently lives in a villa with small dogs who are too small for her to play with and she is becoming reactive with them.
This beautifully bred female shepherd just needs to find an experienced and confident owner someone who understands the nature of the shepherd breed and will provide her with plenty of stimulation, exercise and firm boundaries.
At this stage she is in foster care with other german shepherd dogs and is learning to be social and friendly. With continued socialisation she will improve remarkedly and will grow into a calm and friendly dog in the right hands.
We also would not recommend Lexi go to a home with pocket pets or cats and due to her size preferably not with children under eight years of age.
Lexi is not a guard dog so don't call Jo if that is your sole purpose of having a German Shepherd but if you can offer her the best home then please call Pauline.
