About Puppy Alice (On Trial 24/4/14)
Alice is a beautiful 14 week old, female, Pomeranian x Chihuahua puppy. She loves attention and will never say no to a belly rub or a gentle cuddle. She is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. She needs a coat to keep her warm in the colder weather. She is not a barker but will let you know if someone is around.
Due to her unhappy past, Alice takes a little while to warm up to new people but once she knows you won't hurt her she will smother you with kisses and will be a very loving, loyal part of the family. Alice would love to have another friendly, \ little dog to keep her company. If she is the only dog she will need a family where someone is home a lot of the time.
Being a puppy he has baby teeth which are very sharp and likes to chew on things, including fingers and toes so would benefit from some reward-based training. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. We are house training her and this will need to be continued by her new family.
All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
For more information or to meet Alice, please contact her foster carer Debbie on 0408 825 714. Alice is in foster care in Beresfield, NSW (near Maitland, northwest of Newcastle).
Alice's $450 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
