About Jack and Sasha
Back in mid February a brother and sister pair were surrendered to a Sydney pound. Sasha appeared to have been well cared for and in good condition, whilst her brother Jack was in appalling condition. Jack's coat was vitually non-existent as for many years of neglect his skin condition had gone untreated. How can two dogs from the same family and the same home be in such a different condition from each other? We dread to think the life little Jack lived certainly not one that involved any vet treatment!. (Please see last picture which is Jack's picture from the pound). We are so glad that they were both surrendered and that we could give them the chance to start again and have a happy life.
SAS started their journey to a healthier, happy life with the help of veterinary advice and treatment, a proper diet and a caring foster carer. With the generous help of a kind donor, their adoption fee has been reduced to $300 for the pair so that they can stay together.
Both dogs are very bonded - Sasha continually grooms Jack and they snuggle up together when sleeping and play the day away while their carer is at work. They love nothing better than a good snuggle on the lounge of a night time...and we promise that they will not fight you for the remote!
The pictures show Jack's journey the main/first picture being the most recent taken on 24th April, 2014 and the last picture being Jack's picture from the pound. It really is amazing what a simple bit of vet attention, proper diet and TLC can do so sad to think that Jack must have had this untreated skin condition for a long time.
Sasha and Jack are good with their carer's nieces and nephews and their carer believes that they would be suited to a home environment with children over 8.
They enjoy their walks so must go to a home where they will get their daily walks and be permitted access inside at all times. They travel well in the car and enjoy their outings.
They can be viewed in the St George/Camperdown area of Sydney. SAS has reduced their adoption fee so that they can be rehomed together.
