About Sally (On Trial ~25/9/14)
Sally is a female, black Kelpie, approximately 18 months old. She is a very happy, friendly and energetic girl and gets along well with other dogs.
Sally would best suit a young active family on acres or someone who has a fenced yard and are willing to spend time with her to wear her out. She is also very well behaved around small children and especially toddlers and seems to show extra care with them.
Sally walks very well on a lead, sits and stays on command, although she does lose her concentration easily. She travels well in a car. She will need to have some training and boundaries, but she is quick to please so will learn well.
Sally has been a delight, she can be a little anxious when left alone without any humans, although does settle so we are told once we have left. She would be suited to a home with another dog for company.
For more information or to meet Sally please phone foster carer Geoff on 0408 939 217 or email eddieoutoftown@yahoo.com.au. Sally is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Sally's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
