About Nala *On Trial in Her New Home*
*NALA IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Soft and gentle Nala is one of the sweetest dogs you will meet. This long legged beauty’s father was a Cocker Spaniel while her mother was a Corgi cross Terrier making for an interesting mix – her foster carer says she looks a bit like an Egyptian princess with her creamy fur and dark eyes! Her fur is especially soft and it is a treat when she curls up next to you and lets you stroke her velvety ears. She is a little bit silly and a lot bit loving and would make a terrific companion for school age kids.
Surrendered to SARG as her owner no longer had the time for her adorable Nala loves being with people and does get quite upset when left alone, so she would love a forever home with a doggie companion or a human who is home a lot. Her long legs make her very bouncy and she enjoys running around the backyard with her carers dogs. Even though she was quite scared and thin when she came into foster care she has settled well, sleeping in her foster carers bed and discovering the excitement of leftovers! Trust is a must with this lovely lass; you will need to work hard to gain and build upon it, but once you do you will have a devoted doggie companion for the rest of her life as loyalty is one of Nala’s star qualities. You have to be a really special person to adopt this gorgeous dog; she is quiet and a little shy at times, but will love you no matter what if you treat her as specially as she deserves to be treated.
Before coming into care Nala hadn’t had much training but now she’ll sit when asked using treats though can still be a little hesitant to come when called and she’ll need some practice on a lead in her forever home as she hasn’t spent much time on one. Being quite young Nala shows a lot of potential when it comes to obedience training and enjoys the one-on-one interaction. She doesn’t chew or dig though will need some help with her toilet training while she learns her new home’s routine – she wasn’t allowed inside in her previous life though she’s loving being allowed in foster care, so we’d like to see Nala’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle continued in her forever home.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
