Puppy Benson (On Trial 18/4/14)

Little Benson is an 11 week old Maltese x Shih Tzu. He is a sweet and loving little boy who loves to have a cuddle and he loves to cuddle his brother Noah as well as his 7 other foster brothers and sisters of all breeds and ages (6weeks to 11yrs) they get on well together. He has not met a cat as yet but I am sure he we would be ok.

He must go to a home local to the Newcastle area and preferably one that has another small dog to play with Benson and may even be able to teach him a thing or two. Benson’s new home should have someone who is home a lot or works from home. He is not suitable with kids under the age of 5 years due to being so small and delicate.

Benson is an inside dog and loves to have a play outside on the grass on a nice sunny day. He must always sleep inside in a nice comfortable bed with his toys and teddy and must be left secure and comfortable inside the house when no one is home.

Given Benson is only a puppy he is still learning all the basics; toilet training, and basic commands, so puppy school is a must! Not only does it help him learn what you want him to do, it allows you both to bond and gives him vital socialization skills that a dog requires.

Benson has a low shedding coat which needs regular brushing (every few days depending on length), bathing (every few weeks) and clipping (every 4 to 8 weeks) to keep him comfortable and beautiful.

Benson’s brother Noah is also available for adoption and both Benson and Noah could possibly be adopted together if the perfect family is found.
