About Bella (Bally Boo) - WA
Perth, Western Australia.
Female Great Dane being rehomed via the GDLAWA. Bella (who we now call Bally Boo) is 5 and is a sterilised, vaccinated and micro-chipped purebred Great Dane. This elegant girl is looking for a home where she can live out her remaining years with a human who is not afraid of a dog with some issues. \
She walks beautifully on a lead and doesn’t pull. Daily exercise is essential as with all dogs but importantly for Bally Boo to release her energy and help keep her relaxed. Bally can enjoy walking with other dogs on lead but is unable to cope with mingling at the dog park or off lead situations such as the dog beach.
Currently new dogs or people can easily unnerve her. These situations would need to be managed closely.
She is a good inside dog and isn’t destructive or naughty at all. Her nature is a reserved one and an experienced, confident and calm handler is the one who will win her trust & confidence. She will then reward you with cuddles and love. She has a mad play time around 9pm at night and could toy-toss for Australia!
Bally’s new human would need to be keen to work with her to continue her rehab and be very clear of her current and very likely few remaining lifelong limitations. Don't be afraid of her limitations though. In a quiet home with good, loving and confident dog leadership, this girl will thrive! She gives back so much more than she needs from you.
Bally is a special girl and the ideal family for her will be one that has had experience with large or giant dogs. To give Bally the best possible opportunity her new home will be one with no young children or other pets in the home.
Enquirers will be screened and an adoption fee may apply but is negotiable for the perfect new owner. To chat further about Bella (Bally), please call Trish on 0412 290 120.
