About Timmy (On Trial 27/4/14)
Meet Timmy, a handsome Jack Russell X who has no known history except for being left at the pound by an anonymous person. He is an absolute gentleman who I think has been raised by a gentleman. Although he is young (about 12 months) he has plenty of manners.
He walks perfectly on the lead waiting for you to prompt him. He loves to play, sleeps through the night on my bed and spends his day inside with my 2 girls while we're out. He's learnt to use the doggy door and does his business outside. He's very cuddly and has beautiful healthy teeth so we give him lots of chews to keep them just so.
He has never been neglected or abused, quite the opposite. He is getting used to the car, so whoever was his previous owner didn't have a car but clearly loved this little man. Not that happy with having his baths, his first visit to the beach was fantastic. He mixed really well with all the other dogs on the beach and all 3 went for runs off the lead but stayed close.
He does jump up with excitement and is very playful in the mornings after a good sleep. Timmy will play with whatever toy is laying around and loves to chase the ball. He even brings it back!!! He never barked at the passing dogs in the street when he arrived but has started to join in with the other two guarding the perimeter.
Timmy is the name we got the best responses from, so we stuck with that. He now knows the "no" command. Quite accustomed to a little luxury, I think Timmy has had only 1 male owner of senior years who has either passed or gone into care himself and unable to take care of this beautifully tempered young man.
He does not dig and he does not jump fences. He is very content. It will be a lucky family or single person that adopts Timmy. My husband is very reluctant to let him go as we all are.
If you think you can shower Timmy with love and allow Timmy to be inside with the family when you are home and to sleep at night and give him lots of cuddles and kisses then you may just be the right person for Timmy.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
