About Yuki (On Trial 3/5/14)
Yuki is a confident and friendly 7 1/2 week old cattle dog cross puppy. She loves her human cuddles and is quite content to snuggle in to you as you carry her around like a baby.
Yuki is in foster care with 4 other dogs and she loves them all. Big or small, young or old - Yuki doesn't mind as she just wants to be friends with them all. Yuki also loves the 6 cats she is in care with, she and the cats love to play chasings around the house. Yuki loves her food and has been known to corrupt the cats into helping her raid the fridge. Open a cupboard or fridge door and Yuki will be inside quick as a flash to see what's on offer to munch on. She loves to help you around the house... although chores soon get forgotten as she's just so cuddly that it's impossible to not get sidetracked playing with her.
Yuki sleeps very well at night, she will curl up in a cozy doggy bed when she's ready and sleep the whole night through. She also has frequent naps during the day, as being a rascally puppy is very tiring work.
Being a cattle dog cross Yuki will grow up to be a medium size active girl, so she would best suit an active family where she will receive daily walks once she is old enough to learn to walk on a lead, or who will include her in fun outdoor activities. We always recommend puppy or dog training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
She would also suit a home with an existing friendly dog of any age to romp around the yard with, or a home where someone is home during the day for companionship. \ Puppies as social as Yuki would get very lonely and cry if left alone for periods of time.
She will need to be an inside dog when her family is at home and overnight - there's no sleeping outside for this little princess.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
