Lochy (On hold pending adoption 9/5/14)

Lochy is a 3 year-old male, pure bred Border Collie. who is gentle, loving, playful, affectionate and very placid. Lochy is very good with cats and children and he has a beautiful nature. He is an all rounder happy, playful boy and an absolute joy to have in our family.

Lochy is a fun, excitable and energetic boy who loves playing the game fetch. Lochy also loves going for walks and runs and being such an energetic young dog he needs a lot of exercise and someone who is committed to taking him for regular walks.

He also loves to simply hang out with people. He loves human company and prefers this to the company of other dogs. He will happily lay on the lounge with you or at your feet and loves cuddles. Lochy is a wonderful companion and likes just being with you and to follow wherever you are. Lochy needs to be allowed inside with his human family when they are home and feel like part of the family.

Lochy is an obedient dog and is very eager to please. He sits and lays when told at home and he still has so much to learn. He is an intelligent and observant dog that will react well to training. He is a delight to take on walks, very well behaved, does not pull and is not fazed by other dogs.

Lochy ideally needs to go to an active home that does not have another dog and where he is allowed inside. Lochy will be a joyful and loving addition to any home as he is just a gorgeous boy who will give you many, many years of love and devotion.
