Possum

Possum is a brown tabby girl who knows what she wants in life. She loves pats especially head scratches and will curl in a ball and fall asleep in your lap. She is quiet girl with a loud purr.

Before coming to Claws n Paws she had been found on the road badly injured and handed into a local vet who fixed her leg and she is now fully recovered although she does have a slight limp, which is barely noticeable, however she doesn't like being touched there. Possum then went missing in bushland and was found with several paralysis ticks. She recovered well from this and is determined to live. She may have used up a couple of her nine lives but she still has plenty of life left in her.

Possum's ideal forever home would be one where she is your only cat as she doesn't relax around other cats. That way she can fully come into her own and relax completely. \ Possum LOVES cat friendly dogs, The bigger the better. I think she thinks she is a dog herself at times. She would do well being rehomed with a cat friendly dog, but it's not necessary.

Possum takes a little while to trust her people especially younger children but she comes around eventually. She is super affectionate with people, will head bop you, rub against your leg and she is a loud purrer. She will also gladly curl up on or next to you in bed or when you're on the lounge. She craves human affection and companionship. Possum likes being outside during the day, curled up on a comfy chair in the sun and then comes inside and sleeps on my bed at night.

She comes desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated.
