About "Brooke" - Purrfect Match
Gorgeous Brooke of the amazing emerald eyes. She has the most stunning soft silver spotted tabby coat with splashes of apricot throughout - a two-tone tabby!
Brooke is sweet, quiet, loves scratches behind the ears and headbutts. She needs a patient, understanding owner as she can be a little nervous and takes a while to suss out new things (quite sensibly I think), but there is no aggressiveness in her and she is very responsive when she is comfortable with you, rubbing against anything nearby, doing shoulder dives with her rump in the air, and has an endearing habit of ducking and twisting her head to one side to look at you. She likes to wind herself around your and legs too if you stand still long enough.
She is not a big lap cat, but who knows with the right home? She would be good for someone wanting company without big demands for attention.
She is fine with most other cats if introduced correctly, and in fact would probably prefer the company, or that of a human who is home most of the time. She is gradually adjusting to the dogs here but would be just as happy without them I think.
She uses her litter, eats well and is a good girl with her scratching post.
Unwanted when no longer a kitten, and surrendered to the pound, she was held over past her "due" date due to her lovely nature. Nevertheless in a very full pound she was very close to being destroyed, when she was rescued. (The photos with the black background were taken while in the pound).
If you are looking for unusual looks, beauty and affection in your life, you are probably looking for Brooke! Having been rescued from death row after spending several weeks in a high-kill pound - she is probably looking for you too!

Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and a refund is available within an agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet and a home check will probably also be arranged.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse than that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society.
Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
