About Marmi
My name is Marmi and I need a new loving home after my elderly owner passed away.
My foster carer has much to say about me, she says that I am a lady cat, very polite, gentle and a little sensitive to change. Not the sort of cat that wants to sit on you but I am happy to sit next to you. I love being outside and exploring the garden but am also happy indoors. I spend a lot of time outside and enjoy the sun.
At night I will either sleep on my foster Mum’s bed or on my bed in the lounge room. I am very independent but also like to be near you. I am in foster care with two other cats and small dog, I get along well with them well.
At times I have burst of energy and for a couple of minutes I will do a few laps around the house, once I get tired I go back to my bed and nap. My inner kitten comes out probably a few times per week!
I am not destructive and happy to sharpen my claws on the scratching post or outside on the garden sleeper. I have never used the furniture, one of my favourite places to sleep is on the couch back cushion. It means I am close to you but have my own space. My foster Mum has gotten me use to being picked up, when I first arrived I panicked and would get very scared. Now I can be picked and moved and it doesn’t stress me anymore.
I do enjoy a brush and I will chat to you when its breakfast and dinner time, I do have a slightly sensitive stomach and my foster mum feeds me chicken breast and spring water tune. I prefer the chicken breast but mum foster Mum says I need variety, I also have dry food to snack on.
As a British Blue my eyes can weep at times and they need a bit of a clean, I don’t like this but I tolerate it. I am overall a gentle, polite little lady that takes a little time to warm up and adjust to change. Once I have settled in I am the sort of fur friend that will bring you a lot of joy with little effort.
I would best suit a family that has mature or no children and that have friendly or no other pets.
Can I come and live with you??
