Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Bruce the Labrador X
Bruce is a gorgeous, well-natured young Labrador X Staffy boy, who loves being around people. He's a clever boy who responds to training quickly, is constantly smiling and has a wonderful joy for life.
Mr Handsome is a happy-go-lucky kind of dog. He loves going for car rides (especially if it's followed by a swim at the beach!) and rarely barks.
Bruce is a big boofus and while he is a gorgeous boy, he needs a carer/owner with dog experience to work with him on his training.
MY IDEAL HOME
I'd love to go to home with a backyard that I can play in. I like going for walks, chasing the ball or playing tug o' war so I'd love a family/owner who is active and will involve me in their day to day activities.
MY ENERGY LEVEL
I can get quite excited because I love life and everything is so exciting - that's why I prefer to be around people who are calm and confident. I do love plenty of pats and cuddles, and a little roll around on the grass. On lazy afternoons, I love to sit next to my foster parents but I'm also happy to snooze on my bed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
I love children! Foster mum says I'm really gentle with them. However I am a bit too big and strong for small children - I would hate to accidentally bump them! Foster mum says children over the age of 8 would be best.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS
I like other animals, however jumpy and loud animals can upset me. I would be better suited to a larger dog as a companion. We would need a little bit of time to get used to each other, but I'm sure we will be friends in no time!
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
