About Sascha
Meet Sacha! Sacha is a healthy, energetic, 4 year old Staffy x. Don't let her tough looks fool you, she is a big softy and a bit of a scaredy cat at times. She is timid on first meeting new people but once she gets to know you she considers herself a lap dog (regardless of her size).
Sascha can be a little selective when meeting new dogs so she would be best as an only dog. She needs to be introduced to new dogs gradually. She's a big dog so she needs to have secure fencing with a minimum of 6ft in height. Young children may frighten her and may be easily bowled over by her, so not suited to a home with children under about 10 years.
Sascha's ideal family is with someone who is willing to invest time, energy and training to settle her into being a part of the family. She craves human attention and would not do well to be left by herself for long periods of time. A family that is willing to walk her daily is a must.
Sascha has had a bit of a rough start in life but has a lot of love to share and is ready for the rest of her life in her forever home. She will make a great companion to an active, caring person.
For more information or to meet Sascha please phone Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Sascha is in foster care in Mandalong, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Sascha's $300 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
