About Brian & Duncan (On Trial 9/8/14) ~ fun 3yo pair ~
Meet Brian and Duncan, two adorable 3 year old, male, Australian Silky cross, bundles of fun. Duncan and Brian are fine with cats and have been living with three of them, as well as being great with friendly dogs of all sizes as they are not afraid.
Brian: Dark colour, at his last weigh in, he was 3.7kg. He is the quieter brother who loves to sit on your knee and is quite vocal at letting you know. A sweet nature, and walks well on lead.
Duncan: Is a black & white, rotund little dude. Last weighed in at 4.1kgs, and loves his food. He loves to wrestle and play but when tired will come looking for a lap to sleep on or just quietly go to sleep in his bed.
Both boys were in poor condition and in desperate need of TLC, whilst in care they have thrived. These boys require ongoing toilet training, and their new family must be patient and consistent with them and watch for cues when they need to go outside.
They need to be allowed to sleep inside with access to outside areas. You will also need to provide them appropriate chew toys and treats if you love your shoes. A toy box is a good idea. They need attention and love to play; they are not set and forget, being part of the family is a required.
These little boys will provide you with unconditional love and entertainment. They are well socialised and progressing well in their training.
Brian and Duncan need to be rehomed together and their ideal home would be one where there are no small children, as they are tiny and can be injured easily. They only have little tummies so need 2 meals a day, “Treats for Paws” treats and chicken necks are their favourites.
The boys need some attention to grooming such as bathing and brushing. They have easy care coats but need tidying up around eyes and faces occasionally. They love to be brushed

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
