About Oscar (On trial ~25/9/14)
Oscar is a 7 month old kelpie x. He is happy, playful and energetic. He is a medium size dog who is currently growing into his lanky legs and magnificent ears but will not grow too much taller.
Oscar is looking for a forever home which would include a secure yard, daily walks, access inside and to basically to be included as part of your loving family.
Oscar currently knows the command for sit but like most young dogs can be excitable when he greets you and jumps up a little. All he needs is continued training. We always recommend training for young dogs and puppies. With Oscar's Kelpie intelligence he will pick up training very fast.
Oscar is great with other dogs and would be a perfect companion if you already have a dog needing a friend.
With his handsome looks and gentle nature you won't find a better puppy to add to your family so don't hesitate to meet this beautiful soul, you will be glad that you did.
For more information or to meet Oscar please phone foster carer Caroline 02-4983-1748 or email moorefieldsfarm@bigpond.com. Oscar is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Oscar's $400 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
