About Tori *On Trial in Her New Home*
*TORI IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet terrific Tori! She’s one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born in early December. Her mum is a Beagle cross Pug (a Puggle???) and her dad is a Staffy.
All of the pups have friendly, affectionate natures and are used to being handled (cuddled!) by adults and teenagers. Tori gets along well with her foster carers other dogs just wanting to play or hang out – she hasn’t met any cats. They all enjoy food, especially treats which is helping with their training and they’re learning the basics such as “sit” and “down”. The pups haven’t spent much time on a lead as they need to be fully vaccinated before getting out and about so will need some practice with this in their forever homes.
Loveable Tori really loves to snuggle and adores people. She thinks it’s pretty special if she can sit beside you (or on you!) while you watch tv and have a puppy nap. She is a very gentle, loving pup though she can also be a bit cheeky and has fun sneaking up and attacking her brother – they love to run around with each other or wrestle. Tori enjoys playing with toys or just hanging out in the yard with her carers own dogs enjoying the sunshine. \ She is enjoying an inside / outside life in foster care and is doing well with her toilet-training and she sleeps outside with her brother, but would love to sleep inside in her forever home.
As she’s only a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up having lovely manners. Daily walks or runs around the backyard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Athena very happy indeed!
Tori would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home with another playful dog for companionship as she really does love to be part of a pack – when her brother recently went to visit our vets for the day she was quite lost and sad.....
If you think you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up terrific Tori then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link or by copying and pasting it into your browser: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet.html
Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
