About Micho
Micho is a miniature poodle. He is a bright and bubbly puppy. He is learning some manners but will need more training. Micho is house-trained and very sweet, but needs gentle handling as he can be a bit unnerved by rough handling. He does jump up but we are working on this behaviour and he is improving all the time. Micho (pronounced Micko) was surrendered because he chases the chooks so a family without other small pets would be ideal. He is also prone to chasing cats. The best home would be with a family with older children or an older couple or single person. Micho would be okay in an apartment provided he gets walked every day. He travels well in the car and enjoys outings with his foster brothers. He gets on very well as part of a small group of dogs but for training, would do better alone. Micho is located in Narrandera in South-west NSW.
Medical notes
Micho did have an ear infection which has been treated with good results. He also had a slight limp but he has been tested for luxating patellas and nothing has been found. The vet suspects it may be a learned behaviour as he doesn't do it very often. His ear hairs will need to be plucked regularly and he will require grooming but he does not shed.
