About Bonnie *On Trial in Her New Home*
*BONNIE IS CURRENTLY TRIALLING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Looking for a fun-loving playmate for your dog-friendly cat then you can’t go past bouncy Bonnie; and the bonus is she’s terrific with dogs as well, especially those who love to play!
Recently surrendered to SARG for rehousing as she was way to active for her disabled owner who thought she deserved a better life in the right home, Bonnie has settled in well into foster care where she’s thriving on the attention from her carers’ children aged 10 and 13. Bursting with puppy love and playfulness she’s a social diva who loves life and everyone she meets. She’s always up for a bit of fun, racing around the yard with the children and their own little dogs, but she’s also just as happy sitting on their laps while they watch tv or curling up at their feet while they do their homework - she’s fully housetrained and a pleasure to have inside. Bonnie enjoys entertaining herself with her toys (she knows how to fetch) and she’ll need a home with a doggie pool as she absolutely loves splashing around in the warm weather! She'd never met a cat until coming into foster care but she warmed to them straight away and is truly enjoying having these additional furry playmates around.

Bright little Bonnie will sit for treats though she hasn’t spent much time on a lead so will need some practice with this in her forever home - she’s not fussy when it comes to food so hopefully this will help with further training. She does jump up a lot especially when she’s excited (which is fairly often!) so she wouldn’t be good in a home with toddlers as she’d accidentally bowl them over. \ She‘s not yappy though would make a good watchdog as she’s quite alert. Bonnie is fairly low maintenance only needing the occasional bath to keep her smelling fresh and she would be best suited to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle (she sleeps inside at night) with the companionship of another playful cat or dog or on her own but only if her humans are around a lot as she’s used to having company – at only 4.4kgs she’s a terrific take anywhere size too. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of attention in her forever home will make Bonnie very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
