About Odie
Hi there, I’m Odie. My foster mum says I’m sweet, full of affection and a loving, gentle soul. You will not find a more good natured soul anywhere. I feel the same way about her. I enjoy being cheeky, especially if it makes you laugh. \
I’m friendly and always have a smile on my face because life is so wonderful. But, there is always something missing. A special family to call my own. I know you’re out there somewhere. I also know all good things come to those who wait. So, I’ll wait patiently for that special day when we finally meet, the beginning of an amazing journey together.
Let me tell you a bit more about myself, my favourite things – cuddles in bed in the morning, belly rubs, soaking up the sun’s rays and cuddles, did I say cuddles? Oh, and don’t tell anyone, but I really enjoy catching little bugs if I get the chance.
Spending time with my human companions is very important to me. I am also quite content with my own company, as long as you don’t leave me alone for too long.
I’m very well trained if I don’t say so myself. I follow commands, walk well on the lead and if you want to make my day give me a run off the leash. A free run is awesome!
I have a few tricks up my sleeve and I’m always happy to put on a bit of a show, just make sure you have some treats handy.
I look forward to my daily walks. People often stop and scratch my ears or give me a pat. I love it when they do that. I adore people and enjoy socialising with other dogs. There are times when I may be a little selective and like some dogs more than others.
I’d be happy to share my family with another female canine friend, and I get along okay with cats. Mostly I want you around.
So, if you think I’m the one for you, and you’re the one for me, why wait a moment longer? Just give me a chance and I guarantee I'll be the light of your life, just as you'll be the light of mine.
