Meet Buddy the lovable pooch!

This beautiful boy loves his cuddles on the couch and once he feels safe with you is very affectionate.

Buddy came into our care very overweight- so with a calorie restricted diet and LOTS of exercise this beautiful boy now has a supermodel body! His new owner will need to ensure he is not overfed as he is the sort of dog that will not stop eating!

Buddy is a very energetic dog so a daily walk and lots of chasing the ball or frisbee will be needed to make sure he stays mentally and physically stimulated. Buddy LOVES the dog beach and will run around chasing his Frisbee for hours if you let him!

This beautiful boy gets along with other friendly dogs well and loves children. He is also toilet trained inside the home. He would however be best as an only pet.

Buddy will need an owner who is prepared to put in some work with him and establish firm ground rules and leadership as his mix of dog breeds are very strong minded and clever. Once Buddy knows who is in charge he is a great boy to have around. He is very clever and picks up new commands very quickly so some ongoing obedience training would be very beneficial. Buddy can be a little afraid of new men that he meets but with some patience and lots of TLC he does overcome this fear quite quickly.
