Jaxson (On Trial 25/4/14)

Jaxon is a very handsome, long coated Chihuahua, 4 years old. He likes to keep you company and is used to being other dogs. He was living with a female German Shepherd and they were best of mates. He gets on well with my little Maltese dog.

Jaxson was surrendered by his owner when she became too ill to care for him. She said he was used to children and loves their attention but will growl if they tease or scare him. Jaxson would therefore be best suited to children over 7 years old. I don't know about cats as I don't have one.

Jaxson has a very soft, sable coat with a white chest. He looks like he's wearing black eyeliner, it makes him look very elegant. It's very relaxing to sit with him on your lap and brush him. He loves cuddles and tummy rubs and sitting with you. He enjoys a bath and is very well behaved. He plays fetch with his soft toys. He still has a way to go when walking on a lead but loves it and needs to go for regular walks.

Jaxon would not be happy being left at home while everyone works full time. Even if he had another dog for company I feel he would get into mischief, so he would best in a home where there is a stay-at-home parent, or a pensioner, or part time workers, etc. He is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside, at least when people are home, and to sleep inside. He is housetrained.

His owner asked DRN to find a loving home for him as she didn't want to advertise him for sale for fear of the wrong people applying. She knew DRN would do their best to find that loving home. Could you welcome Jaxson into your family?
