About Maggie (On Trial 30/3/14)
Meet Maggie, a 4yr old, purebred Labrador who is the sweetest girl you will ever find. Her idea of heaven is curling up with you for a nap or cuddle, playing with her chew toys, tug of war and also to run around the back yard with a ball when she is feeling a little crazy.
Maggie loves her daily walks, sniffing around as she goes. She travels well in the car and enjoys a nice road trip with the family.
Currently she is living with two other dogs who she loves to play with and cuddle up with. She has been well socialised with dogs and children, and is adored by all and adores them in return.
Maggie’s size is ideal for any size and aged family as she is still active yet knows when it is time to relax for cuddles on the lounge. She doesn't jump up even when very excited which is great for younger families. Maggie comes when she is called and sits on command. She would blossom with some training as she really just wants to please you.
Ideally Maggie would suit a home where she would have access to inside and out, to come and go as she pleases. She loves to be with you but also likes a play in the yard.
For more information or to meet Maggie please phone foster carer Robyn on 0439413351
Maggie is in foster care, Charlestown NSW and is available for adoption interstate.
Maggies's $400 adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
