About Cody and Leo ~ pair of gentlemen ~(trial 9/11/15)
Why settle down with one distinguished gentleman when you can settle down with two? Cody and Leo; the Sean Connery and George Clooney of the K9 world are the perfect pair. Dressed to impress in their classic black and white suits they will always look the part whether you're having a quite night in or strolling through the park.
Leo is a Border Collie x Labrador, approx 8-9yrs and Cody is his Border Collie father, approx 11 years old. Being a little more mature, this father and son duo know when you want to snuggle on the lounge or hit the town. These Gents are happy to share the special human in their lives and for this reason will be moving in with you together. Both enjoy a regular stroll through the streets and are working on containing their excitement at being on your arm when they first leave the house, Cody has the smooth moves and stands on hind legs wrapping his paws around your waist in a perfect embrace to show he cares.
Both are great with other dogs and happy to be in a yard as long as they are together. They both panic if separated from each other. Neither are good with cats, they chase all small animals. I have not had then near children but both love any kind of attention so I imagine they would be fine. They really are lovely boys.
These Gents enjoy a fine meal but would prefer you be there to ensure that dinning politics don’t get too heated. Although confident enough not to need to smother you all day they do need your attention and some dedicated time, preferably indoors of an evening. \ If you are looking for double the fun, and double the love in your life then look no further then this sophisticated pair.
For your chance to meet the men of your dreams contact please Cody and Leo's foster carer Nic via email: nicthompson@y7mail.com or Ph: 0423682983. Cody and Leo are in foster care in Medowie, NSW 2318 (Port Stephens, north of Newcastle) and are available for adoption interstate.
Cody and Leo'sadoption fee is only $200 for the pair and includes their desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registrations. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
