Garfield

Garfield was very wild when I got him, to the point where you couldn't approach him without him running. He is much better now and will sit on the couch next to me and my husband, and likes being picked up. He also purrs all the time and seems content. He doesn't like kids, he'll just run away or scratch them, therefore a home where there are no young children is definitely preferred for Garfield. He's pretty much ruled by his stomach; if you have food he will love you, if you don't any affection is on his terms.

Garfield is trained to come to the sound of a spoon banging on a food bowl, this helps if new owners want them to come in from outside at specific times. He's been outside a couple of times but, unlike my two, prefers to sit on a chair by an open window and watch from relative comfort.
