Ricky

Meet the beautiful and affectionate Ricky, a medium-large Wolfhound Cross with big puppy dog eyes.

This beautiful, gentle boy is still only very young and found himself without a home and sitting in a rural pound with his sister.

Ricky is great with friendly dogs and loves people - he is also very gentle with kids and cats! He is house trained and crate trained and would love to go to a home where there is someone home a lot as he thrives on being around people. Alternatively, a doggy companion would do nicely!

Ricky loves to play fetch with tennis balls at the park, and is very good at returning balls to mum or dad for another throw,

He has some basic obedience training but some ongoing dog obedience classes would be very beneficial for this big boy, as he is still young.

Ricky needs a secure yard as he does get sad when left and may try get out to find you. He hasn't shown any destructive tendencies in foster care though, and is really a delight to have around!
