About Shadow (adopted by carer 25/11/14
Meet Shadow. Shadow is a 5 year old, male, kelpie x greyhound who loves to play. Shadow is a very pretty dog with a friendly, loving nature. He would love a home with people who can keep him active and provide a loving and attentive environment. He would benefit from further training as he still very young and he is eager to please.
Shadow is great with other dogs and enjoys meeting new people, especially if they give him lots of attention and pats. He needs 6 foot fencing as he is rather tall and can jump.
Shadow is dreaming of a home where he will have another dog to play with and where he would be allowed inside when people are home. He currently sleeps outside in his room but would love to join his family inside at night if allowed.
For more information or to meet Shadow please phone Anne on 02 4943 3651 or 0412 837 867. Shadow is in foster care in Mandalong, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Shadow's $300 adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
