Andy

Andy is a fun loving, sweet little shy guy who will only continue to blossom into a confident soul when given the opportunity.

Andy is still a little timid and learning that he has nothing to fear. He is not a lap cat but we believe he has the potential if he is continued to be nurtured and given space as his foster care family are doing now. He is still healing from a life that was so unpleasant that it created anxiety for him.

Andy will seek out a pat but of course, like most cats, this is on his terms.
He loves a cuddle and will be best suited to a family with older children. He is great with young children but prefers to hang out with older folks.

Andy is beginning to sit next to humans and sleep for brief periods. This will increase as you gain his trust. At times he can feel a little overwhelmed with all the new changes so he will require his new human/s to understand him and be patient in allowing him to adjust to the good life and support him where he needs it.

Andy's favourite thing to do is play ball. He has practised and become a tennis fanatic by hitting the ball back to his human with his paw! That's really clever!

Andy is not interested in scratching anything and when in a playful mood he will chase your ankles!

He adores sleeping in small spaces such as cupboards with linen in them. If you lose sight of him and are left wondering where he could be, check the cupboards!

Andy is an inside only cat and his new forever people will need to ensure this is possible for him to be considered for adoptive parent/s.
