Marby (On Trial 14/6/14)~ A Perfect Gentleman ~

Marby is a shy, 15 month old, Kelpie cross Labrador, who has all the lovely qualities from each of these breeds. He is gentle and playful and gets along with other dogs, big and small, and humans too. He can be very shy and timid around strangers at first but will soon warm to anyone that shows him some affection and plays fetch with him.

Marby is a well mannered boy who is mostly an outside dog but will wait patiently at the door to be asked to come inside. He enjoys some bonding time indoors with his people. He comes back when called and does basic commands such as sit, stay, drop the ball etc.

Marby has only barked on one or two occasions, only when strangers have approached and only for a short time. He is a bit scared of the hose and doesn’t love a bath but still enjoys a run along the beach and will walk through shallow or still water such as a creek.

He LOVES to play fetch with a tennis ball and would probably play forever if you let him. His new home would ideally have a yard big enough to chase a ball.

Marby is one of the fastest dogs around (that’s the Kelpie in him) but is still very easy to walk at a nice pace on a lead. He’s very intelligent and would be very easy to train because he just wants to please his human (that’s the Labrador in him).

Marby is an extremely loyal dog. He currently shows most of his love and affection to his female carer however has warmed to the male of the house too. He will add so much fun and love to your home.
