About Milo and Muffy ~ sweetest pair ~
Milo is a 7–year-old Shih Tzu X who has spent all his life with 9-year-old Muffy, a little Maltese X female. Milo is just as sweet as the namesake beverage and loves to snuggle with his owner wherever and whenever he is allowed. Muffy is the braver of the two, a little explorer, who is always open to new adventures – but loves to return with some welcoming licks.
They spend much of the day sleeping in their baskets next to each other, but if Muffy is shaking with cold or nerves, they will often very cosily squeeze into just the one bed.
Once their energy levels have been restored they are ready to play – mock fighting is their favourite and they favour human contact over any kind of toy.
They travel well in the car and while Milo enjoys a walk, sometimes Muffy will go on sit-down strike and has even had to be carried back home!
They love raw or cooked chicken and little Dine sachets but not too keen on dried dog food. Both have had problems with their teeth and though they enjoying licking bones – are not quite sure what else to do with them!
They are happy and sociable little dogs, happy to meet new humans. They also fitted in well with my daughter’s medium size Staffy/Ridgeback X during a visit and in their previous life lived with a toddler so am assuming they are also good with small children. However I don’t know how they would be with cats.
For more information or to meet Milo and Muffy please phone foster carer Rebecca on 0401 808 335 or email rebecaskin@gmail.com . Milo and Muffy is in foster care in Newcastle NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone (preferred) or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can tell you all about the pet. They will also ask you about what sort of home you are offering in order to assess if it is a good match.
(2) Arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carers home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. They will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
