Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Sophie
Sophie is a happy, lovable young pup who ADORES people and will make a great family pet. She is eager to please and will do almost anything for a treat. Sophie is very sociable with other animals and will be a great dog for any home.
This gorgeous girl is currently learning her basic commands, is excellent on the lead and thoroughly enjoys going for walks and being a part of her humans' lives.
Like most pups, she's active and excited about everything life has to offer, but she also enjoys relaxing on the sofa or on the dog bed with her foster sisters. Sophie likes to play tug and chase me with her sisters and fetch with her foster parents.
MY IDEAL HOME
My peeeeerrrfect home would have either people who work from home, or a doggy friend who can keep me company during the day. My new family would have to be interested in continuing my training as I am a smart little cookie and my mind requires the challenge of learning new tricks.
MY ENERGY LEVELS
I have the energy levels of a puppy and love going on a daily walk. I will play with you until you tire and I then enjoy cuddling up with you - lying on your lap is my favourite, but I'll settle for your feet or even close by. I am a medium energy dog so I would really like it if my new family did lots of outdoor activities I could tag along to.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS & DOGS
I am very sociable and love other dogs! I don't think I've ever met a cat, however I would be willing to test it out as I am a very sweet and careful when introduced to new dogs. Maybe they'll want to be my friend too?
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN
I am very friendly and love all people big and small! However foster mum says a home without toddlers would be best, as I wouldn't accidentally want to knock them over. Kids over the age of 6 would be great though - I'd love to play with them!
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
